Nvidia – GTX Challenge
I worked within a 4 person in-house design team, creating the visual identity for the event. I was heavily involved in the website design for the as well as the overall branding and art direction of the campaign, included video storyboarding and pitches ideas to internal teams.
We wanted a campaign that appealed to the gaming counter-culture. The main narrative being based around a giant mothership and a smaller orb filled with power, this represented the power of the GTX processors. Each country/team has its own glyph and these are featured within the advertising as we encouraged the audience to “back their team” online. These key components feature throughout the website design and all online touch-points and we encourages Twitch personalities to use the graphics were possible.
We especially tried to show the brand story through the website which features many layers of the mothership on a single scrolling website, with an ever present orb that follows the user during their user journey.
