GPU tech conference is a part of a global series providing training, insights and access to experts in computing topics, such as VR, AI and deep learning. This 3 day event hosts dozens of talks, workshops, training and networking opportunities for computing professionals.
In the build up to the event an online advertising campaign was created to promote it, followed by the “My GTC
(GPU Tech Conference) App”. It allows customers to personalise their schedule, browse topics, book events, connect with speakers, workshop hosts, and view the floorpan of the event.
The main challenge was creating an app with a third party developer as it had many interactive features including live updates and personalised calendar sharing. We created the UX and UI in-house, adapting the visual identity from NVIDIA’s core brand. Through thorough testing we then developed the UX based on insights. The app was a huge success and is used as the basis for upcoming GPU events.
